Black Iron Tavern, will open in two days. In less than four months, the BIT team remade the former The Point space on Milwaukee Ave. in River West into a sophisticated bar and eatery complete with the requisite exposed brick and duct work, trendy wallpaper, leather banquettes and a prominent rectangular bar. Outside, a large evolutionary urban mural greets patrons and passersby while Taus kept the long row of streetside windows and large rear patio in tact.

Stay tuned to see what the acclaimed chef has cooked up for the food and beverage menus inside his first full foray into the bar game.
